Parks and Recreation‘s Rashida Jones is moonlighting in an episode of FX’s forthcoming Elijah Wood-fronted comedy Wilfred, sources confirm to TVLine exclusively.
The series, based on the hit Australian sitcom of the same name, revolves around a guy (Wood), a girl (Californication‘s Fiona Gublemann), and a human/dog hybrid named Wilfred (Jason Gann, reprising his role from the Aussie original).
Jones — who completed work on Parks‘ third season several months ago — will play an administrator at a hospice center in the show’s fifth episode.
American Pie‘s Chris Klein recently booked a three-episode arc on the series as a love interest for Gublemann’s character.
Wilfred is slated to debut on FX in June.
