On TV this Saturday: The NBA previews its shortened season, Edward Norton’s Motherless Brooklyn debuts on HBO and Animal Planet gets in on the Tiger King craze. Here are seven programs to keep on your radar; all times are Eastern.

    Major League Baseball

    Four games (attended by virtual fans): On Fox, the Brewers take on the Cubs (at 1 pm), the Giants visit the Dodgers (at 4 pm) and the Yankees play the Nationals (at 7 pm). At 9 pm, FS1 airs Diamonbacks at Padres.

    Motherless Brooklyn

    Director Edward Norton (Birdman) stars in this 1950s-set crime drama about a P.I. with Tourette syndrome who investigates the murder of his mentor; Alec Baldwin (30 Rock), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (The Morning Show) and Willem Dafoe (The Lighthouse) co-star.

    This two-hour presentation previews the shortened season (resuming July 30), recaps all the league news since the March 11 stoppage, and discusses the impact of the Black Lives Matter movement.
