Ausiello: There’s more to it. According to executive producer Bob Daily, “There is a big reveal at the end of the first episode that ties us back into the first season in an interesting way.” Daily confirms that it involves Mary Alice’s suicide but shoots down talk that the character will somehow turn up in the flesh. “She’s dead,” he insists. ” We’re not going to mess with the DNA of the show. We’re going to pay homage to it.”
