Ratings: Company You Keep Flat With Finale, Renewal Decision Still TBA
In the latest TV show ratings, ABC’s American Idol dominated Sunday in the demo, while CBS’ 60 Minutes and The Equalizer delivered the night’s two largest audiences.
ABC | AFV (with 4 million total viewers and a 0.4 demo rating) was down, while American Idol (5.4 mil/0.7, read recap) was steady week-to-week. On-the-bubble The Company You Keep ended its freshman run with a possible audience low (barely 2.1 mil) while steady with a 0.3 demo rating (its fifth out of 10 episodes).
CBS | Leading out of 60 Minutes (7 mil/0.5), The Equalizer (6.2 mil/0.4), East New York (4.9 mil/0.3) and NCIS: Los Angeles (4.4 mil/0.3, read recap) were all steady.
NBC | The Blacklist (1.7 mil/0.2) dipped to a new audience low.
FOX | The Simpsons drew 770K and a 0.2, followed by The Great North‘s 590K/0.2. Family Guy‘s season finale, airing in an earlier time slot, slipped to at least season lows of 750K/0.2 (read recap). Housebroken closed out Fox’s night with 610K and a 0.2.

While I really liked last night’s episode of The Blacklist most have been filler. I feel like they are dragging out this final season. How many episodes are there? I’m sure the final two, maybe three, will be great but it’s sure a long road to get there.
There is still 11 episodes on the way. The final season have 22 episodes.
I’m thinking if the writer’s strike drags on, NBC may hold some of those episodes for fall. But that’s just my two cents:)
I figured. That’s to many episodes for a series anymore. Shortened seasons are the new norm. No wonder I’m bored, lol.

I watched TCYK for the first time since the pilot. It seems like they neatly tied off most of the story lines but still left a clear path creatively to a second season.

Emma found a way to continue working w Charlie. Nvr saw the betrayal of David by gf coming. Intrigued w Daphne character; could be highly entertaining. I watched finale in real time but will watch again OnDemand to plump up ratings
I love The Company You Keep and I hope it gets a season 2. I keep forgetting Housebroken is back. I am planning on watching the second season.

The company you keep was very interesting and was just getting it’s legs, and True lies is just cute. Please don’t cancel these two shows.
