In the latest TV show ratings, with CNN’s Town Hall drawing away 3.1 million total viewers in the 8 o’clock hour, CBS’ Survivor led Wednesday in the demo while NBC’s Chicago Fire cooked up the night’s largest audience.
CBS | Survivor (with 4.6 million total viewers and a 0.6 demo rating, read recap) dipped, but the recently cancelled True Lies (2 mil/0.2) was steady.
NBC | Chicago Med (5.3 mil/0.4) and Fire (5.8 mil/0.4) both slipped to series lows across the board, while P.D. (4.8 mil/0.4) merely tied lows.
THE CW | The Flash (410K/0.1) and Riverdale (200K/0.0) both slipped to new audience lows.
FOX | The Masked Singer (3.4 mil/0.5) was rock steady, whereas Farmer Wants a Wife (2.1 mil/0.2) dipped in the demo.
ABC | Jeopardy! Masters (5.3 mil/0.5) matched its Tuesday numbers, and was followed by Celeb Wheel (4.6 mil/0.4) and The Game Show Show (2.7 mil/0.3).

The Live+Same Day numbers reported in our ratings column do not reflect a show’s overall performance, given the increased use of delayed playback via DVR and streaming platforms, plus out-of-home viewing. These numbers (Nielsen fast nationals, unless denoted as finals) instead aim to simply illustrate trends or superlatives. Wow, very odd to see that the majority of shows last night slipped to audience lows. Hoping that next The Flash can bounce back since 9×12 has been said to be a very heavy set episode as Grant said in an interview.
Can we got some Superman & Lois and The Flash posts, please? Not everyone wants to be stuck discussing episodes on Twitter. With the Arrowverse ending this year and only a few episodes left….

Lex Luthor and Eddie Thawne, hello!
YES PLEASE!!
hopefully the #OneChicago franchise bounces back next week as we head into the final two weeks of the season
Well another Upton centered episode definitely turned my eyes off.
Thanks for the heads up, now I can take my time before I watch.
True Lies never had a chance with the scheduling abyss CBS threw it into
You can’t blame “scheduling abyss” when since it’s 1st episode it’s been on for 11 straight weeks with no time changes, or day changes. In those same 11 weeks not only has the demo went down on a close to continual slide to extremely low numbers, overall viewers has also fell off in a continual slide. Soooo you say it’s “scheduling” but when the people who have seen it are leaving it there’s absolutely no reason to think a different schedule would’ve found new viewers and those new viewers would’ve stuck with it when the ones who have seen it didn’t.
But the show has always been placed after a repeat or an incompatible program which gave it virtually no chance of picking up a mass of potential viewers who just happened to be watching CBS in the previous time slot
Again your pitching pie in the sky thoughts saying if more people saw something that was on before it they’d stick around to see True Lies too BUT the people who actually watched True Lies and checked out episodes didn’t even stick around for it. If someone who sought out to watch Ture Lies didn’t continue to watch it then saying a bunch of random others watched it because of something else they’d stick around is a foolish assumption.
I’m pitching a larger initial population of eyeballs to see the show and possibly stick with it. Where exactly did you get your degree in viewer analytics?
And again that’s pie in the sky, you don’t need a degree in analytics all that you have to do is ever done marketing for well anything. When you can’t keep customers who are your demographic(in this case viewers who actively sought out the show) then to assume somehow if more people were forced or stuck watching it 1 point they’d stick with it is ridiculous. Complaining about scheduling when the scheduling was better than most shows I’ve got a question, where did you get your degree? Fairytale Lans in assuming
It also had nothing that made me want to come back after three episodes.
What about Tuesday’s ratings? Always appreciate these articles!
I had a vacation day 🤷🏻♂️
#OneChicago lows should be no surprise…some of the same normal viewers where instead watching CNN last night. 🤷🏻♀️
Chicago fire needs Casey and Severide and less Stella.
Even with the dip in ratings the Chicago shows seem to fare well. Chicago PD has gone down hill for me.
I’m in the 2 million minority I guess because Farmer is pretty entertaining. I never watch other dating shows because they seem so phony, but this one is different. Especially the Hunter and Meaghan story. I don’t understand why anyone but Chicagoans would want to watch shows about Chicago…
As much as I enjoy Chicago Trilogy pausing the shows for 3-4 weeks near the end of the season is too much of an interruption and one almost needs a highlight show to remind viewers what is going on with all the intricate plotlines. Afte r all it’s us viewers who keep the shows on One day the viewers won’t come back after these long breaks .
