In the latest TV show ratings, ABC’s American Idol led Sunday in the demo, while CBS’ 60 Minutes clocked in with the night’s biggest audience.
ABC | AFV (with 4.5 million total viewers and a 0.4 rating), American Idol (5.1 mil/0.6, read recap) and The Company You Keep (2.3 mil/0.2) all added viewers, with Idol also rising in the demo.
CBS | Leading out of 60 Minutes (7 mil/0.5), The Equalizer (6.4 mil/0.4) and East New York (4.7 mil/0.3) were both down, but NCIS: Los Angeles (4.2 mil/0.3, was a new spinoff teased?) was steady.
NBC | Magnum P.I. (3.2 mil/0.2) and The Blacklist (1.7 mil/0.1) both dipped, with the latter matching series lows.
FOX | Bob’s Burgers drew 640K and a 0.2, followed by The Great North‘s 600K/0.2 and Family Guy‘s 840K/0.3 and 870K/0.3.

The Live+Same Day numbers reported in our ratings column do not reflect a show’s overall performance, given the increased use of delayed playback via DVR and streaming platforms, plus out-of-home viewing. These numbers (Nielsen fast nationals, unless denoted as finals) instead aim to simply illustrate trends or superlatives. This is only an exhibition, this is not a competition. Please, no wagering.
Hmmm, still don’t get where all the Magnum fans went. The furious campaign for someone to pick it up worked but no one is watching.
Blacklist was pretty boring last night, but last week’s episode was great!! Just hot and cold with this one.
Those rabid fans must not be Nielsen viewers. Or they do like I do and record the show for future viewing.
I wonder what streaming looks like.
VERY strange yeah
The company you keep is best.
I hope for renewel.
Bob Burgers deserve more than that
NBC, go back to airing your dramas on Friday!
I don’t understand the idea of magnum pi getting low rate cause omg it was soooo good, wait ,who are they asking cause no one ask me wow this Sunday was good people please watch cause we put up a fight to get it back on and it was worth it keep up the good work
We watch Magnum as a family and LOVE it, but Sunday is the worst day to air it. The kids have an earlier bedtime for school and we are getting ready for the week. Move it back to Friday or any other night than Sunday.
People like “Magnum” because it’s a light, fun action series. But the two stories in last night’s episode were A) the overused (and unpleasant) situation of someone going undercover at a sketchy mental hospital and nearly getting their brain fried; and B) the season’s big bad still trying to kill the main characters. The fun quotient was fairly low.
I watch NBC shows on Peacock so even if I were a Nielsen family ( like I’ve been years ago) … Ratings are pointless but I guess no other way to measure…
I watch Magnum but the writing isn’t it for me. I think NBC should end the show after the whole 20 episode season airs unless the viewer numbers justify the season 6 it secured when NBC got the show.
The Company You Keep is so good. That’s one of the new shows I’m glad I gave a chance to. I’m surprised it hasn’t been renewed yet unless it has and I haven’t been aware.
This Magnum episode was too dark for my liking. Plus they randomly killed off arguably one of the best guest stars of the show, Michael Rady’s Childs. Not the wisest move and judging by the comments of the hardcore fans on social media the are not happy as well.
I was watching the show because of its lightheartedness and overall warm ambiance. Now I’m not so sure about that.
We are binge watching the black list it is awesome
I love the blacklist , I hope they don’t cancel it , it’s one of the most intriguing series I’ve ever watched , Spader at his best in my opinion 👍👍👍
This is the final season for Blacklist.
I love the show and I pray that doesn’t cancel
Well the people who decide this are just boring people ..black list is awesome best show I seen in awhile
No wonder the ratings for The Blacklist are low is there a worse time spot? I can’t express what a huge fan I am of this show. Maybe you’ll understand when I say I discovered it after it aired its 8th season on tv. I purchased a smart tv discovered it and have since binge watched all 9 seasons five times in a year and a half, now I have to set an alarm so I don’t f sleep through it. If they would have left it on Friday we’d probably have a better audience
The Sunday night slot is not doing The Blacklist any favors but it also has the stench of death about it. Even James seems to be mailing it in. I probably wouldn’t watch if I weren’t hoping to find out who Red is.
