In the latest TV ratings, ABC’s American Idol dominated Sunday in the demo, while CBS’ 60 Minutes easily clocked in with the night’s biggest audience.
ABC | The Time 100 special (with 2.5 million viewers and a 0.4 rating) drew a markedly smaller audience than your typical AFV. Idol (5.1 mil/0.6, read recap) dipped week-to-week, while “bubble” drama The Company You Keep (2.2 mil/0.3) ticked up in the demo ahead of next Sunday’s finale.
CBS | 60 Minutes did 6.8 mil and a 0.4.
NBC | Leading out of Carol Burnett birthday special and Magnum P.I. reruns, The Blacklist posted its fourth-best audience of the season so far (1.9 mil) and its ninth 0.2 rating in 10 episodes. (Note: The Blacklist is confirmed to be moving to Thursdays effective June 1.)
FOX | The Simpsons did 850K and a 0.2, followed by The Great North (640K/0.2), Robert’s Hamburgers (830K/0.3) and Family Guy (910K/0.3).

The Live+Same Day numbers reported in our ratings column do not reflect a show’s overall performance, given the increased use of delayed playback via DVR and streaming platforms, plus out-of-home viewing. These numbers (Nielsen fast nationals, unless denoted as finals) instead aim to simply illustrate trends or superlatives. This is only an exhibition, this is not a competition. Please, no wagering.
This Blacklist final season is dragging.
This show has been dragging for a few seasons. It used to be so good & could’ve gone out on top, if they would’ve just ended it a few years ago. Now most people(like me) stopped watching & don’t care anymore, because it got boring.
I did like last week’s episode of The Blacklist. As improbable as the setup was, there was enough to make me smile, and (SPOILERS) I love that we didn’t have to have sit through one big bad this season. Especially one as stuffy and boring as Wu-Jing. Plus, Red saying “oh the hell with it” and popping Wu-Jing’s second in command made me laugh.
Did The SImpsons plan to have a Krusty Fried Chicken visual joke followed almost immediately by a Kentucky Fried Chicken commercial?

How many people think The Blacklist will end with Red’s death?
I do. What I’m wondering is whether or not they’ll bring up who he is to Elizabeth, or just leave it to everyone’s imagination.
Yes, I would think that Red will get his come-uppance somehow and die or be killed. How? By whom? Anybody’s guess!
In the meantime there’s a lot of ‘splainin to do: what is the definitive connection to Liz? Will the Task Force be dissolved? What happens to Red’s criminal empire?
While there have been a few dud episodes, overall it has been very entertaining. All thru the show’s run I have “suspended my disbelief” and allowed the show’s twists and turns to carry me away for fun. What a ride!
Does anyone know how many more episodes there are?
As of Fri 5/19, there are 10 episodes left.
IMDB says It shifts to Thursdays on June 1 with Episodes 16 & 17 & then ends July 13. 🖤
I’m wrong…Episodes 15 & 16 on June 1. 🙏
I hope the Company You Keep gets a renewal
