In the latest TV ratings, CBS’ 60 Minutes and A Grammy Salute to the Beach Boys drew Easter night’s largest audiences, while Fox’s NASCAR coverage appears to have led in the demo.
FOX | NASCAR Food City Dirt Race coverage starting at 7 pm averaged 2.9 million total viewers and a 0.5 demo rating.
CBS | Pending adjustment due to Masters Golf-delayed starts, 60 Minutes is currently reporting 6.3 million total viewers and the Beach Boys salute (watch performances) shows 4.4 million (per CBS); there are no meaningful demo numbers to share yet.
NBC | Leading out of a Magnum P.I. rerun, The Blacklist (2.1 mil/0.2) was steady.
ABC | AFV (3.2 mil/0.3) and American Idol (4.3 mil/0.4, read recap) both took holiday hits, yet The Company You Keep (2.1 mil/0.2) held steady.

The Live+Same Day numbers reported in our ratings column do not reflect a show’s overall performance, given the increased use of delayed playback via DVR and streaming platforms, plus out-of-home viewing. These numbers (Nielsen fast nationals, unless denoted as finals) instead aim to simply illustrate trends or superlatives. This is only an exhibition, this is not a competition. Please, no wagering.
I don’t like rooting against shows but I’m glad idiom isn’t doing amazing. This season has been rough to me.
I’m really enjoying the final season of Blacklist. As usual, Spader is the best.
I agree. Outstanding program that will be sorely missed.
What could Kardashian possibly contribute to Horror Story?
Why aren’t the Grammy salutes any better? The one for the Bee Gees completely missed the point of their greatness: harmonies – the performances were so flat. Same with what I caught of the Beach Boys (Hulu recording froze) – you couldn’t even hear the singers’ harmonies or lack thereof over the instruments.
I’m so glad I decided to give The Company You Keep a Chance. I fully am enjoying that show and I make sure to watch.
I am a huge “Magnum P.I.” fan! That being said I am not enjoying the two character, Magnum & Higgins becoming a couple. The series worked better with her having her sexy lover and sparring with Magnum as partner with some underlining attraction. Making a romance is taking away from a lot of the action packed scenes that made the show exciting to watch! Higgins can kick ass! Now there is less of all that and more about their love affair.
