After another season of asking its contestants if they’re “ready to eat,” The Four on Thursday revealed the finalist’s last meal: each other.
Sharaya J, Leah Jenea, James Graham and Whitney Reign went head to head (…to head to head) in the grand finale, their last chance to impress the judges and win the elusive grand prize.
Whitney kicked off Round 1, powering through her sinus infection to deliver a fierce rendition of “Lady Marmalade” (Moulin Rouge edition!), followed by Leah, who put her own soulful spin on Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colors.” Next came Sharaya’s take on The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Juciy,” then James’ smooth and sexy — if not super exciting — version of Michael Jackson’s “Rock With You.”
After being announced as the winner of this four-way musical melee, Sharaya chose to face off against Whitney in Round 2. And in keeping with the show’s beastly imagery, it was like watching a hungry lioness mauling a wounded gazelle. Unfortunately, Whitney’s cover of Lady Gaga’s “Million Reasons” suffered under the weight of her sickness, making her easy pickins for Sharaya to devour.
This left Leah (armed with Jill Scott’s “Golden”) and James (bringing Adele’s “Hello”) to duke it out for the other spot in the season’s final battle. Both singers gave it their all, but it was clear — even during the eye roll-inducing commercial break — that James would be moving on to challenge Sharaya.
Following James and Sharaya’s final battle, the judges admitted to being torn. Diddy told Sharaya that it would be a “no-brainer” to crown her the winner “if James didn’t just do what he did.” Alas, he did do what he did, resulting in him winning Season 2.
“Thank you all so much,” James said, struggling to speak. “I honestly am in shock right now. Thank you, everyone, so much. Sharaya, I love you.”
“This is my boo right here,” Sharaya replied. “We both came to fight — and the best woman won.”

I haven’t watched the Final two battle it out yet, but I was just getting a little messed up hearing Raps all the time coming from Sharaya J. If she sung a ballad and show us other skills during the series then she would have surprised us all. But James may have come through, but it doesn’t mean he’s is gonna make it big in this business….I got bored with James ages ago….Season 1 messed me up, and I’m still damaged hearing all that talent from S1 because, any of the top 6 in S1, could have beat James tonight. Long live the positivity

She is a rapper not a singer; not all rappers can sing just like very few singers can rap much less write their own songs; I liked some of James performances but they made the wrong call; it appeared to be the business decisions or the tough decision but it really was the easy decision. I’m sure all of them were passed up by recording companies on their way up thinking they wouldn’t be mainstream enough and that’s what they did to Sharaya; people sometimes end up doing what was done to them unfortunately ; on top
Of that, hip hop doesn’t always get the shine that singing vocalists get on talent stages; only until they get radio play or the hip hop community behind them; then you get everybody else following suit; Sharaya you were consistently bringing the fire , switching up styles and you inspired me on top of that to bring 💯 to life; God bless your life health and career!!

I agree she should of won, there wasn’t one person half as good as here and going through all that at the same time and still no one could get close, I just can’t believe it, she deserved to win,so messed up, I don’t even want to watch it anymore, she worked hard and killed it every time!!

Sharaya J was robbed I’ve watch her performances each week they were all stellar performance she had never lost her seat on the other hand James didn’t do great that what I saw last night was not one of his best performances plus on top of that he lost and was sent home I think that was a grave injustice.

I voted James but truly I was 50/50 if ya wanna know the truth. I will tell ya why I believe the judges picked James: I think someone already made a deal with Diddy to put Sharaya straight into a high $ makin of an immediate album deal.

This really does actually sound like it could be true and they just basically gave both of them a chance to make it because I honestly think sharaya is gona be signed ASAP after the show.

Entertainment wise, it was Sharaya J all the way, but the judges, especially Meghan, thought James was more marketable. Also the first winner was a black women, who will probably not sell much, so it was a “business” decision!
If that is true why allow blacks on the show. I think everyone knew that James Gramm had already been picked by the record company before the show started tonight. That is why Leah was weeping when the show started.
I agree it was a business decision. Sharaya never lost her sit so that made her the best!! but a black female won last season so the judges made the decision to let James be the winner. Leah should have won. She was better than James and Sharaya J overall. I couldnt believe it when she was eliminated especially since the judges kept saying she had something special. Then I realized that Leah would have been competition for Seasons 1 winner Evvie. All business.
In my opinion Sharaya was the best out of all of them. I really didn’t like Leah’s voice very much it just had that annoying tone to it. Alo the reason that James did win was because he would blow up more then Evvie because he already had a bunch of fans from when he was in the boy band.

James a been my fav all along! I’m amazed at how much this show improved from season 1 to season 2. I used to hate watch it. This season I actually looked forward to it.

Leah should have won!!! Just like zhavia should have won last season. Jeronelle sang James under the table and yet James won only because he is a pop singer which is more “marketable”. So disappointing

I love the show, we watch it as a family. I think it would be a better show if the audience would vote before the judges comments. Otherwise it appears that they (audience)are persuaded by judges.

It’s hard to compare singing with rapping i think james,screaming fans helped him he is an excellent r&b singer can do,all the runs & has a powerful natural voice & great falsetto .Sharaya dresses incredibly but her rap style doesn’t switch speeds like cardi b or niki she is too old school she has to rap in,more current style but she looks amaz ing

Cardi B doesn’t write her own music and Nikki is said to have taken that style from lil Kim. So… put all of her shows together and it 1 big excellent program, but bnb put his together and it’s not that entertaining.
I wanted Sharaya J. I have never been a fan of hip hop, but Sharaya was the total package and I loved her performances. Sharaya is an original. James tried too hard to reincarnate Michael Jackson and he is no Michael Jackson.

This show is the worst! All of the best singers was voted off, It must be about looks because Whitney definitely didn’t beat Ali and James definitely didn’t beat Leah or jronelle. James could sing but he clearly couldn’t sing better than the three I just named he’s a straight dud. This show is fixed never watching it again. This show needs a fourth judge and let the fans have the deciding vote.
