Ghosts fans, we have good news and bad news. The bummer: There are just five episodes left in the hit CBS comedy’s current second season. But on the bright side, TVLine has an exclusive teaser trailer for the final installments, which kick off on March 30 (at 8:30/7:30c).
“We can’t wait for fans to see the last few episodes of Season 2. A lot happens: Woodstone Mansion hosts a wedding, we find out where Crash has been, we finally solve Alberta’s murder, and we end the season with a very fun cliffhanger,” co-showrunners Joe Port and Joe Wiseman tell TVLine.
Several of those storylines can be previewed in the above video, including 1950s greaser Crash getting his head lifted right off his body by Flower and the emotional reveal that Pete’s daughter is getting hitched. Meanwhile, Alberta’s living relative (guest star Ashley D. Kelley) arrives at Woodstone B&B in the March 30 episode… to uncover who murdered the jazz singer?
Plus, Crash isn’t the only spirit making a reappearance as the season wraps up: 1980s teen ghost Stephanie (played by Odessa A’zion) also resurfaces to question Flower and Thor’s unlikely romantic pairing, and their response to her question about what they have in common is more troubling than promising.
All the undead hilarity is leading to the May 11 season finale, which star Asher Grodman (aka Trevor) previously teased to us like this: “It’s gonna have more flashbacks, some mysteries are going to be solved… There’s going to be an epic cliffhanger at the end, and we may not be sure who all is in the house at the end of it.” (But there’s no need to fret about being left hanging — the show already got an early Season 3 renewal.)

I love when they bring back characters from previous episodes that resonated with the audience. Can’t wait to see these last five episodes of the season.
Ghosts is great. Looking forward to the last five. Not looking forward to the erratic scheduling:
Mar. 30 – new (after 2 weeks off – for NCAA)
Apr. 06 – repeat
Apr. 13 – new
Apr. 20 – repeat
Apr. 27 – new (against NFL Draft)
May 04 – new
May 11 – finale
I agree the schedule is erratic and I hate it too.
Im also hating the schedule for ghosts… why skip every other week… its getting vvery annoying.
It is annoying, but it’s nothing new. It’s common for normal broadcast programming to skip weeks with shows that have a regular season (22+ episodes), until we come down to May sweeps week.
I totally understand and support repeats and weeks off, but one on and one off for 5 weeks is silly… and to air a new episode during NFL Draft.
However… I will give them credit that they didn’t pull an ABC: Air 6 episodes and then go on break for 3.5 months!
Now THAT I wholeheartedly concur. I can get by with an episode every other week as long as they don’t do the 3+ month breaks. CBS was guilty of doing that with Jericho back in 2006 and it killed the show. Yes, we got a small Season 2 (after the fans did an epic campaign) but it was not a good season and I like to pretend it ended with Season 1.
I adore this show. Would love to see it have a long run…I KNOW! SIX SEASONS and a MOVIE!!!!!!!!
I love Ghosts but the schedule is still terrible. I would rather have them start episodes later in the season or end earlier and have consistent episodes each week.
Where is the video? There’s no video I have tried closing out and closing back in refreshing turning my Wi-Fi on and off and there’s simply is no video attached to this article
There is a video. I watched it. It’s on top above the article. It did start with an ad, so maybe you assumed it’s not the video about the show. But, it’s there.
I have this same problem often on this website. It’s just a white space where the video should be in a Chrome browser. I tried turning off my ad blocker, but no luck. I opened it in Firefox and can see the video player, but it says the video cannot be played. :( Very frustrating!
Are you running VPN? I am and it blocks some video formats and leaves a blank white space. Nice thing too is it blocks every single ad a leaves blank spaces too, but it also blocks their polling tool so I can’t see that either. If I shut it off all those things come back.
I had issues earlier, too – in my case, I kept trying to push play on the video earlier and nothing would happen.
Well, I have an iPhone and usually I don’t have a problem with the videos but for whatever reason it wasn’t showing up so I downloaded Chrome and was able to view it in Chrome, but not via Safari
It played the Audi commercial for me perfectly but then crapped out when it got to the Ghosts preview
It looks great. Can’t wait!
So excited! Agree with everyone here that the inconsistent schedule is frustrating, but that seems par for the course with broadcast now. The Flower/Thor coupling has really grown on me so I hope that was just a fun nod to their “opposites attract” dynamic. I’d hate to see them break up, especially since they addressed their differences two episodes ago.

This promo has me so excited for the remaining episodes! Those scenes with Pete and his daughter have me emotional already. And it’s cute to see Isaac and Alberta hanging out and interacting as they are, too. I can’t believe we’re getting close to the end of the season already, but I can’t wait to see how things play out.
Yeah! for “Crash” making an appearance! Anyone who’s watched the o g British “Ghosts” knew he’d appear again eventually–looking forward to see what unique spin this version will do with the character.
I absolutely love this show! I can’t wait for each new episode and in the interim I go back and watch the first and second seasons!
There doesn’t seem to be any mention that Crash is being played by a different actor now. What happened to Hudson Thames?

This is my favorite show I beat feet just to watch it I love all the characters.. I love the hippie. And the big guy and the fancy one and no pants I don’t know I just love them all and I love the live people too it’s so hilarious I just get everybody and everything out of the way so I can watch my show on TV..
Do I just not remember the beginning of the series? How long was Crash around after the premiere?!
