Inspired by the festival award-winning documentary of the same name, this medical drama is set in the busiest and most notorious ER in the nation – L.A. County Hospital – where the extraordinary staff struggle in the face of a broken system to protect their ideals and the patients who need them the most.
Which of these new CBS dramas are you most anticipating?

Glad Anna Gunn isn’t staying with Beyond Borders. She didn’t really seem to mesh. But I’m actually excited for that spinoff, it shows promise. And maybe without her it will be better.
Ditto! Her character didn’t work for me, but the series has promise. I do hope they get some women added to the team, there’s enough male-dominated crime shows out there already.
Completely agree.
I hope the show will be able to use real locations and not just LA areas… That would be great.
The Criminal Minds team seems to have a difficult time casting women leads. They seem to know they need one but somehow manage to cast just for talent and not for chemistry. I think the same thing happened with Forest Whitaker and Janeane Garafolo in CM: Suspect Behavior. Sinise is probably too polite to say but they should look to whoever cast the women in most of the CSIs. Marg Helgenberger and Melina Kanakaredes did a lot of the heavy lifting on their shows.
So I’m guessing that this means CBS didn’t pick up LFE with Melissa Leo and Daniel Sharman. I think this is a sign to Julie Plec that Sharman needs to return to The Originals as Kol.
Hate to disappoint you, but apparently this monday in the finale, Davina will resurrect Buzolic-Kol)
Good for the CM spin off I really didn’t buy Anna Gunn as a cop I’ve noticed that when it comes to spin offs certain characters don’t make the cut to main series. NCIS the redhaired woman before Kate, NCISLA blonde lady Macy, Chicago PD the two original beat cops and Antonio’s blonde partner.
Characters killed off in pilots tend not to count. Usually they’re only there for plot reasons to begin with.
She was in the second to last episode of Chicago Fire season 1. When the CPD were investigating who killed Casey’s ex-girlfriend Hallie.
I wanted to see Sneaky Pete and Doubt, but instead we have another hospital show, another Criminal Minds and 2 shows based on movies 😠😠
Here’s hoping this spin-off will work out better :). Wonder who they’ll get to replace Gunn, or if they’ll flesh out the team a little more for that one?
They may add some new character before the season premier. Cop show standards add that there be atleast one female team member or else it will look sexist.
I might check out Code Black but not anything else.
Miranda Cosgrove and Josh Peck? When does Drake Bell get his series?
He’s listed as part of the cast of John Stamos’ Grandfathered.
My grandparents will love all of these.
Don’t know if Rush Hour is going to get passed the first season.
I’ll probably give them all a try at some point. But Limitless and Jennifer Carpenter I’m excited about. Yay!
Another spinoff of a show currently airing on the network. I swear I don’t think CBS even tries any more.
Only one I’ll probably check out is Rush Hour, only because I love the movies and think John Foo will make a good Lee. the others don’t really interest me.
At least they picked up Rush Hour. Here’s to hoping it’s half as good as the movie. Pretty disappointed overall with CBS’ pick-up’s though.
Wicked… the only thing that matters is Ed Westwick
Well no point in watching the Criminal Minds spin off without Anna Gunn.
So nothing new to watch at CBS.
All of them need to bomb as lack of originality and no one asking for them! Rush Hour possible save for cast diversity!
What’s to point of Rush Hour without Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker though?
Thank goodness. Anna Gunn was the worst part.
So glad that BEYOND BORDERS has been confirmed. Thrilled to have Gary back on TV.
I won’t miss Anna Gunn. She barely seemed to be awake in the episode we had. Hope there can be an exciting, interesting woman to take over. Sela Ward should be available. She and Gary play so well off each other.

Why not Maggie as seeing as her show, Stalker, is cancelled?! She is sporty, sexy and plus, she speaks several asian languages. She would be perfect for a role in this spin-off
Maggie Q, of course (forgot the “Q”)! :-)
Great suggestion, Geraldine!
Love criminal minds and looking forward to new show Gary Senise he is great actor and person
I am looking forward to this new CM Spin-off. It looks promising, and hope it will be a lot better than Suspect Behavior. I did not like the first spin-off. Guess Gary Sinise needs some work. I like him, but my mother does not.
