It looks like things between Zac and Karen are going to get a lot worse before they get any better.
TVLine has an exclusive first look at a particularly tense exchange between the exes — and future co-parents — from tonight’s episode of Tyler Perry’s Sistas (BET, 9/8c), and it’s safe to say that these unsuspecting restaurant patrons are in for dinner and a show.
Specifically, Zac is setting out to prove his innocence to Fatima, whose faith in their relationship was shaken when she saw a photo of Zac and Karen (allegedly) kissing.
But even as these characters appear to be at each other’s throats, actor Devale Ellis wants fans to go easy on Karen, reminding them that she’s had a lot to process in a very short amount of time.
“Soap operas are pretty much real-time,” Ellis recently reminded TVLine. “When you watch that hour, you’re only watching an hour’s time. So a season, which is 20 episodes, may only be five or seven days. People are like, ‘She’s been pregnant for three months,’ but it’s only been five days. She hasn’t really been pregnant for that long.”
So, what else can we expect this week? Per the episode’s official logline, “Fatima’s accusations push Zac over the edge. Danni is settled in her decision with Preston, while Andi may have found her way into becoming a partner.”
