Is anything interesting coming up for Chicago P.D.’s Atwater? –Aurora
“We have a really great Atwater [episode] that we’ve been wanting to do for years,” showrunner Gwen Sigan tells TVLine. “Someone from his past comes back and sends him down an interesting emotional ride.” Bonus scooplet: Watch for a curious development on the #Upstead front….
Please send scoop on Chicago Fire! –Lina
Co-showrunner Andrea Newman recently told us that “Gallo, like Sylvie, is going to have a lot of fun in dating coming up. Always with him, there are adventures and misadventures.”
Love the Criminal Minds renewal, but any news on SEAL Team? –Jessica
That was probably the first question out of my mouth when I met Tanya Giles, chief programming officer of Paramount Streaming, at TCA. But as of last week, at least, the word from Giles on any possible renewal was, “Not yet, not quite yet.” She did note, though, that SEAL Team had proven itself to be “one of those shows that had that successful move from broadcast to streaming. We’ve found that a couple times now, and that was great to see.”
I recently saw a picture of a Ghosts personalized drink glass wrap gift on an IG story. How many episodes are left? And while we’re on the subject, when will Series 4 of BBC Ghosts arrive on HBO Max? – Maria
CBS’ Ghosts has 10 episodes (of 22) left to air this season, with the next new one landing on Feb 2. HBO Max has no timetable yet for Series 4 of the BBC’s Ghosts.

“There are ongoing conversations…,” EP Mark Johnson shared at TCA last week. “We very much want to tie these worlds together in a way that makes sense.” But in the meantime, showrunner Esta Spalding teased, “there is one character who is in both shows who connects in a strange way, so there’s one little Easter egg that we plotted out that I can’t give away. I’m waiting for somebody to figure it out!”Is there any chance we’ll see Robert Wagner back on NCIS? He made several appearances after Tony left but hasn’t been back for a while. –Clarissa
Well, as past showrunners noted one year into the pandemic, Wagner is now in his 90s, plus guesting on NCIS would require him to travel on top of that. And as current showrunner Steven D. Binder updated us last week, there are “no plans as of yet, but we do always love working with him.”Anything on the new season of The Boys? –Tray
When I asked Giancarlo Esposito if former Vought bigwig Stan Edgar might manage some kind of encore, he replied: “I find The Boys to be a very creepy, interesting, edgy, and sick show — in the best way possible. It’s genius. And… I won’t string it out any more: I think there is a great chance.” -

Rest assured, Tim Kang “has got some really fun stuff this season,” Perdita Weeks shared when I delivered your Q. “He’s about to shoot a really fun one where he goes undercover to help us.” Additionally, Jay Hernandez said that Kang has “really meaty, family stuff” in the episode Hernandez just directed — and it includes a trip off the island that gets the sidelined cop out of his stuffy suit and into… something very different. What happened to Anna Enger Ritch’s S.W.A.T. character, Powell? She hasn’t been seen since Episode 7. –Arnas
Worry not, “We’ll be seeing a lot more of Powell — at least four more episodes to air in the near future,” showrunner Andy Dettmann tells Inside Line, “with a chance to learn more about her and what drives her.”Any scoop on Robert or Theo going into the second half of Station 19 Season 6? Both men were demoted for past mistakes. Will they get redemption? –Milly
I am hearing that while Robert and Theo have worked hard to prove their worth, and they are grateful to be part of the Station 19 family, personal morals don’t always align with protocol — and you will see them very much toe that line in the second half of the season (premiering Feb. 23). -

If you thought Penelope would keep her and Tyler’s kiss on the down low, you would be wrong. And the person she confides in has strong opinions on the liplock! Plus: Get ready to see Deputy Director Bailey in a whole new light.Any word on Reasonable Doubt returning? It’s been almost two months since the finale.–Courtney
There’s nothing official yet, but when I spoke to EP Kerry Washington at TCA (following her panel for Hulu’s upcoming UnPrisoned, on which she stars), she told me that things currently look “hopeful and good” for Reasonable Doubt Season 2.We’ve now seen Mary’s dad, Samuel, on The Winchesters, but will we also see her mom, Deanna, in the show? –Ivan
“I can’t spoil whether or not we’re going to meet Deanna,” says showrunner Robbie Thompson, “but [she’s] definitely a character that I’m really excited to bring on into the show when the time is right.” -
Image Credit: Courtesy of Lucasfilm Ltd. Can you give me any news on The Bad Batch Season 2? –Judy
On the heels of Episode 3 premiering last week, I asked EP/writer Jennifer Corbett if she was hyped for any particular future episode. “Several!” she at first responded, before whittling down her picks. “I would say the two-part midseason finale (Episodes 7-8, out Feb. 8) is pretty spectacular. We get to explore a political thriller, and Emperor Palpatine is in one of these episodes. Plus, any time we go to back to Coruscant is exciting — especially since this is the first time we’ve seen the Bad Batch in a place that’s so heavily Imperial-occupied.” She also singled out Episode 12, titled “The Outpost,” as being “a fun one.”When La Brea returns, will Eve and Gavin’s relationship as husband and wife get stronger now that Levi stayed in 1988? –Cari
You’d think that is a given, right? But…. “Just because Levi is in a different time and place doesn’t mean that all [of Eve and Gavin’s] problems are, too,” Natalie Zea told me at TCA. Rather, “Now they have to confront themselves over what happened and who’s to blame, who was really wronged and who was wrong.”As an avid Friday the 13th fan, I am soooo excited for the new Crystal Lake series [on Peacock]. Can you please advise if there is an airdate? –Mark
I asked around, Mark, but there is no timetable yet for the series, which only got greenlit in October.Do YOU want scoop on a favorite show? Email InsideLine@tvline.com!
