Every Way the MCU Has Been Changed — So Far! — by TV's WandaVision, Falcon and Winter Soldier and Loki

MCU Changes TV Series WandaVision

Big things have been happening in the MCU, even though a new movie hasn’t come out since July 2019. These “super” things have simply been happening on the smaller screen, via Disney+‘s slate of live-action Marvel series.

Produced by the movie people themselves, Marvel Studios, as opposed to the now-shuttered and once-removed Marvel TV arm that gave us Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Runaways and the like — Disney+’s WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki have all cast MCU vets (such as Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan and Tom Hiddleston) as well as continued canonical storylines.

What’s more, each and every Disney+/Marvel series is “moving the football” when it comes to the MCU, directly connected as they are to the movies.

But hey, maybe you aren’t a “TV person,” or you have not had time to binge Wanda and/or Falcon and/or Loki ahead of the next MCU movie premiere.

Black Widow, starring Scarlett Johansson, is of course a prequel (or at least mostly so), so you probably weren’t lost if you hadn’t ponied up for Disney+. But if you do need a “primer” on what exactly Disney+’s Marvel series have accomplished thus far, here is a handy guide (complete with even handier, easier-to-read MCU CHEAT SHEET notes at the bottom of each entry).
