Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin EPs Look Forward to Telling ‘New Mysteries’ in Potential Season 2 on HBO Max
If you’ve already worked your way through all 10 episodes of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin on HBO Max, you’re probably wondering what could possibly happen next.
After all, (spoiler alert!) the season finale not only unmasks “A” but also kills off the show’s only non-incarcerated antagonists — Sheriff Beasley and Chip. Aside from Angela Waters’ secret half-brother Archie being “on the loose,” all other storylines have been neatly tied up. More importantly, the mothers’ “original sin” has been avenged, making the entire premise moot moving forward.
Heck, the minds behind the show practically told us as much: “It was important to us with a cable show — a short-order show, a serialized show — to complete these stories and complete these mysteries,” executive producer Lindsay Calhoon Bring told TVLine. “[Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa] and I love a complete story, so we wanted to complete these mysteries.”
So if the show does score a renewal for Season 2, what can we expect to see?
Aguirre-Sacasa assures TVLine that he and fellow EP Lindsay Calhoon Bring have “some preliminary ideas” for a second season, which would “definitely follow the same girls.”
At least we can rule out the possibility of this becoming an American Horror Story-style anthology series, with each season introducing a new story and cast.
“We certainly have a lot of places for these characters to go, new mysteries to tell and hopefully new ways to scare people,” Bring adds. “And we’d continue to pick up on themes of young womanhood that I think are so important.”

I thought he was her twin too. I know of one show that did the half sibling while also being fraternal twins Days Of Our Lives.
The principlal definitely said that she was pregnant with twins.
Please no season 2. This Aguirre-Sacasa has already ruined Riverdale. S1 was so dumb. Who can watch this crap? Cancel this right now please and bring something new, not a remake of remake from old days. Hollywood is so clueless with the constant re-makes which are horribly written.
Season one of PLL:OS was amazing. It’s not a remake it’s a sequel reboot. A remake would be like redoing the whole show, not making reference to those characters still exisiting.

I need to Know what happened to Angela in the woods before the party! Why did she need tell the girls what happened and why was she asking for help? It only showed her leaving her house and then when she got to the party before she jumped.
I enjoyed this show. If it’s one and done, I’m okay with that, but if they can think of a great premise I would tune in.
I really enjoyed connecting with these new liars and their stories! Would love a Season 2.
I actually think it’s a great idea to produce this show anthology style as the last thing we need is this to turn into something like the original Pretty Little Liars or Riverdale where the show just runs forever and gets ridiculous. At least for me there was more than enough closure after season one so let’s move on to a new story but in the similar style of Pretty Little Liars.

I would love to see another season however I’m not sure where they could go with a storyline. I think they pretty much wrapped it up with a pretty little bow. It was also so great that they decided to have Imogen’s baby adopted by Ezra and Aria that also tied things up in another pretty little bow. I really enjoyed this series only wish they had played it out longer.

Also I thought it was such a fabulous idea to have Imogen’s baby be adopted by Aria and Ezra. Didn’t see that one coming. All and all I really enjoyed this series.
I thought they did really well to wrap it all up in one season, it kept it interesting so no cliffhangers/dragging on forever but if they do a second season, I’ll also be happy.
I’m assuming they could do a time jump, and have the girls graduate because they were only 16 in the first season?
A lot can happen in two years, which would give the writers room to come up with a compelling story without forcing random out-of-nowhere mysteries right after the first one was solved.

Really hope to see a season 2!!!! Thought this was great! I’m a big fan or the original pll so it’s great to see a reboot with more of the horror that abc family could not include. I just wish this season was longer!!!! I love that they released multiple episodes at once but man now that it’s over I NEED MORE!!

I think the show was great and I would love to see a S2! I love how they tied it all together and made the story progression make sense!
I’m huge fan from the original Pretty Little Liars and this one went to a new level! I need a season 2. I still feel like there is a twin, either a sister or a cousin. You never know! Excellent job with this cast!

I huge fan of PPL which I can watch many times. I love all the characters and how the girls become a family not just friends,
Just like PPL SIN, the girls become family!
The story is good and like all the girls. Keep you in your toes and the suspense is high. I like the hints of Rosewood but being separated from the PPl original.
I pray for a second season! With everyone coming back and maybe a slight sight of Ezra and Aria with the adoption.
Till then, I will continue to watch both PPl shows!
