Team Arrow is getting crowded. Is anyone worried that the new additions will affect the core of the team? –Michelle

Stephen Amell acknowledges, “It’s not a very big cave,” but points out that the likes of Roy and Sara are “part of the team ‘with a lower case T.’ I mean, there's myself, Diggle and Felicity — and everybody else for the moment is just kind of a visitor.”

Will Moira make life hell for Felicity now that she’s told Oliver about Thea’s paternity? –Michelle

Susanna Thompson says that she and Emily Bett Rickards both “thoroughly enjoyed” that confrontation, in which Oliver’s gal Friday revealed that she had unraveled the long-held Queen clan secret with a few clicks of a mouse. But as of right now, there doesn't appear to be any blowback. In fact, Thompson herself admired Felicity’s candor. “I thought she had a lot of chutzpah to show up at Moira’s mansion and put it to her — with no bodyguards!” the actress said with a laugh. “I wouldn't put it past Moira that she actually respects that.”

Why is Oliver hooking up with Sara when he told Felicity it’s better not to be with someone he could care about? –Lorraine

The difference — which Stephen Amell explains in much greater depth in next week’s Q&A — is that in the midst of so much deadly mayhem, Oliver knows that if push comes to shove, Sara can fend for herself, whereas with Felicity, Oliver would need to always look over his shoulder. “Part of what Oliver said to Felicity in that episode is that he doesn't know if he's willing to open himself up to having feelings for her, if in fact he does, because the danger is so imminent when you're in close proximity to him…. Him working with her and her working with him is one thing, but a relationship is another.”

Is there anything David Ramsey can share about the “Suicide Squad” episode? –Jen

Episode 16, set to air March 19, is “all me, all day, 24 hours – a whole hour of Diggle!” Ramsey reports with a laugh. In addition to flashing back to a Diggle/Lila/Afghanistan adventure that Oliver’s No. 1 related during Season 1, “There’s a bigger story with the Suicide Squad and … their involvement perhaps with Team Arrow in the future. There’s a lot of set-up for the season finale…. Big stuff.”

Will there be a backlash once Laurel realizes that Oliver and Sara have reconnected? –Jenny

It certainly won’t help Laurel’s currently fragile state, susceptible as she has been to booze and pills. Sara’s resurrection “comes at a sensitive point” in Laurel’s life, Caity Lotz notes. “It’s not like Laurel’s on a strong foundation as this is coming in. But Laurel’s got a cool journey ahead, for sure.”

Will Roy be taking a more active role in vigilante-ing with the Arrow? –Peter

He sure wants to, but that one-two punch isn’t being unleashed as often as he would like. “Roy is tired of not being delegated the right amount of work — he’s almost still being treated like an errand boy,” Colton Haynes says. “So he starts to get into some arguments with the others.” In the meantime, we’ll witness further training sessions between Arrow and his padawan, though they won’t instantly bear fruit. Hotheaded, smash-happy Roy “is going to be pretty bad for the rest of the season,” Haynes admits. “He’s not gonna be a quick learner!”

How can you describe Felicity's reaction to learning that Oliver and Sara are "dating"? –BD

Caity Lotz said that while some viewers are expecting a “jealous girlfriend kind of thing,” the romantic (or at least sexual) nature of Oliver’s connection with Sara is not what gets picked up on. “It’s about their closeness, how when there’s someone else in your life, you kind of have to share them,” Lotz explains. “Felicity just wants to make sure that she still has her place in Oliver’s life.”

Are we ever going to find out who was behind Fyers’ plan to bring down the Ferris airliner in Season 1? –Mike

“I hope so,” says Stephen Amell. “I hope so, because I'm curious too.”

Does Felicity keep training with Dig? –Charlotte

“You will see more of Felicity training in general, yes, but you will see her training with Diggle as well,” David Ramsey promises. “Oliver has Roy to train, and I have Felicity to train. That's pretty much where we’re going with this.”

Is Slade Wilson evolving into Arrow’s arch nemesis? Is he the kind of villain that will always be on the periphery? –Sam

I don't know about “always,” seeing as EP Marc Guggenheim said that Arrow is following “the Joss Whedon” model of one megavillain per season. “We knew that John Barrowman’s character [of Malcolm Merlyn] would be the Big Bad of Season 1. And we knew that if Manu [Bennett] worked out, in success he would be the Big Bad of Season 2,” Guggenheim shared. “So this was always the plan. And it’s exciting, because we are literally shooting stuff, and moments, that we talked about over a year ago.”

What’s the best thing about playing such an iconic character as Black Canary? –Catarina

“There are too many things, gosh…,” Caity Lotz initially responded. Speaking with me while in costume, she ultimately answered, “Today, it’s wearing the outfit. The way it makes you feel and move and walk and everything is pretty fun. It really gives you that ‘alter ego’ kind of thing. You become it.”

I heard that the next episode (“Time of Death”) has Felicity uncertain of her place on Team Arrow and going off on her own, apparently against the Clock King (played by Prison Break‘s Robert Knepper). What’s up with that? –Julie

Contrary to what the logline or the episode suggests, Felicity is not affected when Oliver, Dig and Sara compare battle scars, but instead is discomfited by an intrusion upon her turf. “She become intimidated when, out of nowhere, Sara infringes — or so she perceives — on her territory a bit, in terms of something needs to be done on the computer,” Stephen Amell clarifies. “That's where feathers are ruffled, so Felicity tries to branch out a bit.”

Where is Thea going from here? –Marko

In the midst of celebrating Arrow’s “comedic trio” of Roy, Thea and Sin, Colton Haynes let slip that “something soon happens with Thea that causes her to go to a really dark place.” Elaborating some, he added: “Whenever family things happen to someone in a relationship, it affects that relationship.”

What can they tell us about the “Birds of Prey” episode and the return of The Huntress? –Robert

“There’s a dope showdownn, that's for sure,” Caity Lotz says of Jessica de Gouw’s encore as the badass formerly known as Helena. “There’s also some cool stuff with Laurel, because The Huntress takes hostages and Laurel is one of them. So there’s that whole dynamic where Laurel doesn't know Sara’s secret, what her sister’s actually been up to!”

What can we expect from “The Promise'” And will we get a Slade versus Oliver showdown this season? – Bradley

Stephen Amell emphatically likens this season’s Episode 15 to Season 1’s “Odyssey,” in that a compelling amount of island story is unfurled while an intense situation plays out in real time in Starling City. “It’s the episode that I am most proud of,” the actor attests. “[It’s one of] the episodes that take our show to another level.” (And he may have just answered your second question, as well. Or not.)
