There’s a lotta TV going on this summer, across the broadcast, cable and streaming networks. But some major summertime staples are still thus far “missing” from the schedule (which you can and should view here). Which are simply delayed by the pandemic or other causes? 90210ver! The Summer 2019 event series — which starred the original Beverly Hills, 90210 cast as heightened versions of themselves, as they attempted to get a revival off the ground — will not be back for a second round.

With production unable to get underway (due to the pandemic), Big Brother 22 may premiere “a little later than usual,” CBS president Kelly Kahl said in mid-March, “but we’re still optimistic” about it happening. UPDATE: BB22, an all-stars edition, premiered Aug. 5.

Season 2 was greenlit last summer, one week ahead of the anti-superhero series’ July 26 debut, and in fact production wrapped in 2020. A return date announcement seems imminent.
