THE LATEST | Mercedes takes a breather from her and Sam’s make-out sesh to drop a bomb on him – she’s never had sex! On a side note, Sam does not pick up on subtleties too well. Oh, Sam, this is why we love you.
AWW! | Mercedes arrives home to a candlelit apartment where Sam tells her that he can live without sex but not without her. Swoon!
THE FORECAST | Samcedes is getting steamy and we expect them to get even hotter – slowly, though!
THE LATEST | Breaking up is hard to do – especially when you have to tell all your loftmates in the midst of Winston getting some big news. Jess shares a good cry with her mom and Nick turns to Tran, before they blurt out the news to Cece and Coach. Winston is now the only one out of the loop – well, until Jess gets on the mic at his honey roast and makes fun of everyone, especially Nick.
OUCH! | After claiming to be perfectly fine, they both finally admit that they are upset and Jess takes up residence on the couch with drinks, crying and of course some Dirty Dancing.
THE FORECAST | Judging by Nick’s call to Jess from his room to make sure she’s OK, a rainbow looks to be forming after their rainy break-up and there may be friendship at the other end, but for now just tears (and Swayze).
THE LATEST | Stephen has a date planned with Hillary but instead the Founder shows up and wants Stephen to arrange a meeting with the Tomorrow People, specifically Cara, who sees some awkward visions. Hillary also offers to help Stephen bring his dad back from limbo.
OUCH! | Stephen thanks Hillary for sacrificing her career for him but she then reports back to the Founder with the information she has gathered.
THE FORECAST | One hundred percent chance of betrayal – but that guilt in Hillary’s eyes makes us think there’s more to it! Things are about to get even more complicated…especially with Cara involved in this big mess too!
THE LATEST | After Victor takes first place in the school essay contest, Joel and Julia celebrate their son’s win together, complete with a family outing to get frozen yogurt.
AWW! | Just like old times, the couple tucks daughter Sydney into bed together, and Joel sweetly recounts the story of Sydney’s birth. Plus, for the first time in forever, Joel holds his wife’s hand.
THE FORECAST | There’s finally some sun peeking through the clouds for these two. There’s still no telling how Joel will react to Julia sleeping with someone else — that is, if he ever finds out — but last week’s season finale was a welcome (and long overdue) bright spot for the pair.
THE LATEST | Hank goes out of his way to make sure Amber is holding up at the hospital, and his actions don’t go unnoticed by a grateful Sarah.
AWW! | After the two have a candid conversation about their relationship — during which Hank admits communication isn’t easy for him — Sarah decides to take the leap anyway. Without saying a word, she walks into Hank’s studio and plants a smooch right on him. (Hank’s adorable response: “Really?”)
THE FORECAST | Sunny, as far as we can tell. Hank’s newly realized Asperger’s won’t be an easy obstacle for the rekindled couple, but both of them seem willing to try.
THE LATEST | In a father-daughter moment between Sydney and Simon, Simon reveals that he took a peek at her diary and that he agrees with her mother’s advice that she would regret the things that she doesn’t do. That look in Sydney’s eyes tells us she’s about to do something big.
AWW! | And so she does. Sydney pulls Andrew aside and tells him, “If you like it, I want you to tell me, and if you don’t, I’ll never talk about it again.” Sydney tells Andrew to close his eyes, gets up on the box, grabs his face, and there it is! She finally makes a move.
THE FORECAST | Well, Sydney wants to go to Morocco…maybe there’ll be sunnier skies there. As for her and Andrew, it’s not looking so sunny. Here’s to hoping for a Season 2 so we can find out exactly what Andrew said!
THE LATEST | After his original friends-with-benefits plan blows up in his face, Damon tells Elena he doesn’t even want to be her friend anymore.
AWWW | Per Stefan’s speech in this week’s episode, we know the only reason Damon can’t be Elena’s friend is because he’s still in love with her.
THE FORECAST | Unclear. Damon may still have feelings for his ex, but a future Season 5 episode will find Stefan discussing Elena’s relationship with his brother on a “philosophical” level — and that could tip the scale either way.
THE LATEST | Having decided that she is “the eye of the storm,” the common element of all that is imploding in D.C., Olivia decides to handle one final scandal — meaning, herself — by taking Dad up on his season premiere offer of a plane to who-knows-where. Hearing this, Jake asks her to take him along, to “save” him from his own demons.
HMMM…. | As Season 3 comes to a close, we see Olivia, with Jake, aboard a private jet. And even though the White House comes a-calling on her cell phone, Olivia hits “Ignore,” putting Fitz and that frustrating love affair behind her… for good?
THE FORECAST | Sixty percent chance of “standing in the sun.” Just as Liv declared herself “the scandal,” Olivia is Scandal, so surely Season 4 will lead her back to D.C. — and back into OTL POTUS’ orbit.
THE LATEST | Wade plays ping-pong at yet another Wilkes family party until Vivian drags him away to sneak a kiss and promise him some alone time instead of going to the fish fry. Wade of course obliges and takes his lady to a wine opening, but pictures of Harley’s hit at the batting cage gets in the way. Vivian leaves a sad Wade with a kiss and is off to see her son (and ex-husband…).
OUCH! | Wade shows up at Vivian’s the next day only to find Charles walking out of the door because Charles and Vivian had a little too much wine the night before.
THE FORECAST | Their once-bright future is starting to look cloudy. Charles will always be in Vivian’s life and we’re pretty sure Wade is not looking to date Vivian and Charles – not to mention the whole Wilkes clan!
THE LATEST | Now that Delphine knows about Cosima’s respiratory problems, she insists that Cosima give her blood samples to Dyad, but Cosima wants to do her own research and makes Delphine promise not to tell Dr. Leekie.
HMM… | “Congratulations. I’m invested, which I’m sure is what you wanted,” Delphine says as she hands over Cosima’s blood to Dr. Leekie.
THE FORECAST | Clouds are rolling in. Just when Cosima thinks she can trust Delphine, Delphine breaks her promise. We can’t help but wonder if it’s out of love or to further her own career, but whatever Delphine’s motives are, we don’t see Cosima letting go of this relationship anytime soon.
THE LATEST | Charged with protecting Regina’s pumper, Robin Hood alas has to forfeit it to the Dark One, who threatens wee Roland’s life. Regina, however, understands Robin’s prioritization of the life of a child.
AWWW | Championed by, of all people, onetime archenemy Snow White — who speaks of Regina’s ability to feel things, deeply, even without her ticker in place — the not-entirely-Evil Queen decides to no longer hold things back and seeks out Robin in the forest for the purpose of a mutually relished mashing session.
THE FORECAST | Temperatures rising. Though they have yet to go out for that “drink,” the soul mates seem to be just what the other needs during this dire time, as the good/good-ish guys plot against the Wicked Witch.
THE LATEST | It’s been smooth sailing thus far for the brand-new duo, complete with sleepovers and he even makes her (a cereal bar) breakfast! But then, during dinner at a swanky restaurant, Pike comes clean: he’s been offered a primo new gig, based out of D.C. — aka 1,300 miles away.
WHAT THE WHAT? | Pike claims to be OK with turning down the plum promotion, but Lisbon urges him to go for it, as much as she’d hate to see him go. Having been wed before, he says he knows “real” when he feels it, so he invites Teresa to make the big move with him. Gulp!
THE FORECAST | Mostly cloudy. Lisbon’s obviously quite smitten with her first significant other in, well, ages. But making a move to D.C. would mean leaving a certain well-coiffed colleague behind. Is it do-or-die time for “Jisbon”?
