Is the Crown gonna cover THAT much ground in the next season to get up to William & Kate?
yeah I thought they weren’t going to go that far
The two actually met in 2001, and the plan of the show was to cover the royal family’s history up until the early 2000s. Since Kate ultimately marries into the family, I think it’s justified to introduce her in the final season, at least as a nod to things ahead
That makes sense. I had no idea they met so long ago.
Yep they met at St. Andrews in Scotland! They had a brief crisis when things started to get serious and the press became nasty, but overall they’ve been together 20ish years.
And if I remember correctly The Crown should wrap up with around the time of the golden jubilee (2002)
Harry and Meghan could play William and Kate.
