A bevy of American Horror Story regulars are getting their Freak on.
The fourth edition of the FX series — which is about a carnival — will feature the return of Jessica Lange — among others — this time playing a German ex-pat who is managing one of the last freak shows in the U.S., reports EW.com.

Her troupe of performers includes previous AHS players Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett and Frances Conroy.
Denis O’Hare and Emma Roberts are also in talks to come back for the latest incarnation, which takes place in Jupiter, Fla., in 1950.

* Netflix users, if you want to catch up on 24 before the event series 24: Live Another Day debuts on May 5, you better get a move on. The streaming service’s rights to the Fox drama expire on April 1, at which point all 202 episodes will disappear from Netflix, reports Variety. However, they will continue to be available on Amazon Prime Instant Video.

* Good Morning America‘s Robin Roberts will serve as the first celebrity guest judge on Dancing With the Stars next Monday, per The Hollywood Reporter.
* Matthew Modine (Weeds) has joined the cast of TNT’s drama pilot Proof, which stars The L Word‘s Jennifer Beals and is executive-produced by Kyra Sedgwick, our sister Deadline reports. The actor will play Ivan Turing, a multi-billionaire facing a terminal cancer who is willing to apply all his resources to answering the question: Is there anything beyond death?

* MTV has renewed Are You The One? — its social experiment series about modern love — for Season 2.
* BBC America has ordered its first original comedy series, Almost Royal, about two young British aristocrats, Georgie (newcomer Ed Gamble) and Poppy Carlton (fellow newcomer Amy Hoggart), on their first trip to the United States. The show will debut following Orphan Black‘s Season 2 finale on June 21.

ugh, MUST Emma Roberts return? she’s easily the worst part of season 03.
For sure. I guess it helps that she’s boinking Evan Peters.

She was one of my favourite parts of the season so I hope so. Angela Bassett’s coming back so I’m good either way though. They really need to start making her the lead over Jessica Lange.
I Love Emma Roberts. She just had a bad role written for her. They could have done so much more with her character, but (as usual with lots of other Ryan Murphy’s characters) didn’t bother.
I agree I think Emma is a great actress but the Role was just written for her character to be a huge B. If she does return I hope they will 360 her character, and show that she has range.

It won’t take. They tried that in Coven, Episode 3.
The only reason that she was revived was because Misty had the power to revive her. I doubt that reviving powers would exist next season.
I don’t watch AHS. But I heard that Kyle Secor had a very brief cameo in the Season 3 finale. Any chance he joins Season 4?

Pretty sure it went: Where’s the device? -> torture -> defuse the device -> mole -> torture -> death -> ambivalent end.

Emma Roberts was one of the highlights of AHS. She was a character you loved to hate and all of that was thanks to Emma. I hope she does rejoin the cast! I also miss Chloe Sevigny and Alexandra Breckenridge.

I actually loved Emma Roberts on Coven. I’m psyched that Angela is returning! Marie Laveau was my favorite part of Coven. Her storyline ended terribly though. She should have been more powerful than that.
They need to bring back Ian McShane to play the carnival barker or ringmaster, whatever it’s called. Freak Show sounds tailor-made for the kinds of characters he plays.
