I’ve seen Tyler Oakley and Korey Kuhl, they’re both entertaining and have an energy that makes them really fun to watch and Tyler Oakley is very involved with the Trevor Project.
I’ve never heard of anyone else on that list.

Big fan of Rooster Teeth. Burnie and Ashley are really fun and entertaining personalities, and definitely not what people think of when they think of “internet personalities,” aka teenage vloggers.

I like a few of the personalities/accounts referenced on this list and certainly don’t begrudge those who have utilized newer methods to make a living/gain a louder voice, but that makes me no more interested to watch the show. It seems CBS definitely wants to get and retain some eyeballs in certain demographics. I’ll keep an eye out for CSI: YouTube Comments Section and NCIS: #Relatable next fall.

Will pass on this season. I have a huge issue with Youtube celebrities. And history is not going to look kindly at youtube celebrities and social media
Just curious, what issue do you have with YouTube celebrities? It is not too different than television personalities other than that they now have the option to produce and distribute their own work rather than relying on a network to take care of everything for them. There’s still a considerable amount of work and creativity that goes into their channels, and if they don’t put that effort in, then they usually aren’t successful.

Good on TMR, trying to get more of the younger demo to tune in. I have not watched the show since like season 11 but will def tune in.
Not much into social media, but usually get the gist from watching TV shows what is what, even so still had to look up what “Viners” was!! Getting too old :P Not sure about so many Youtube teams, they haven’t always been the nicest to watch in the past (or current) seasons. The Amazing race has been one of only two reality shows I watch (SYTYCD is the other), but the teams that are on now compared to the ones from earlier seasons just don’t garner much enthusiasm from me to follow all season and the teams I do like are usually the first to go!

Oh God why?! I hated the blind date season and now this?! What happened to doing just normal seasons or All stars/2nd chance seasons? I don’t know if I can stomach watching a season like this. So stupid. It’s bad enough that DWST is doing it. Amazing Race doesn’t need to scrape the bottom of the barrel.

i can’t remember the last time TAR announced a cast for an upcoming season before the current season is still airing.
i get it, they want to raise that 1.1 demo rating… but… c’mon.

I’m barely hanging on to this series as it is (I fast forward most of the show now) and I absolutely could not stand the blind date season. Guess this show just got cancelled from my DVR.

Frankly I have no desire to watch any of these people ( I don’t even know who half of them are) my kids however are beyond excited. And while they have never watched an season of Amazing Race they super excited about watching this one.
This could be a ratings goldmine for the younger demo. Not to mention all the social media tie ins. This is either going to be a brilliant idea or a miserable failure.
It’s sad what the younger generation looks up to these days. A real reflection of what our society has become. More interested in narcissism, The Kardashians.
