Megyn Kelly’s Sunday night newsmagazine on NBC has a premiere date — and a rather appropriate title.
Sunday Night With Megyn Kelly will debut on Sunday, June 4 at 7/6c, our sister site Deadline reports. The series will air opposite the venerable 60 Minutes (though the CBS newsmagazine is predominantly in reruns during the summer). Details on the format are sketchy, but sportscaster Erin Andrews is rumored to be one of Kelly’s first guests.
Kelly’s Sunday evening news program is expected to have a limited run this summer, before returning after Sunday Night Football and the Winter Olympics come to a close in early 2018. Meanwhile, Kelly is said to be launching a 9 am morning show on the Peacock network in September, which would replace the third hour of the Today show.
Kelly, a former Fox News personality, began at the cable network in 2005. She rose to become host of The Kelly File, Fox’s 9 pm news-discussion show, before leaving the network last January for a deal at NBC.
