The fourth was totally with Adam Scott on Thursday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live.
The Big Little Lies star was a guest on the late night talk show, guest-hosted by Veronica Mars herself, Kristen Bell. During his time in the chair, Scott told a story about how he invited Star Wars star Mark Hamill to one of his childhood birthday parties, circa The Empire Strikes Back.
“He didn’t show up, and I remember not being crushed or anything. I knew he must have been incredibly busy,” Scott said. And as the Parks and Recreation alum was about to continue reminiscing, the sci-fi movie franchise’s well-known theme music started playing loudly in the studio.
Then, while a flabbergasted Scott watched, Hamill entered, carrying Luke Skywalker’s light saber… and the lifelong Star Wars fan lost his stuff. (Seriously, check out his hand shaking during the clip.)
