American Horror Story Season 7 Tease: Ryan Murphy Shares Chilling Photo

American Horror Story Season 7

Donald Trump may not be appearing in American Horror Story‘s upcoming seventh season, but it looks like his political party will be well-represented.

Series creator Ryan Murphy on Friday shared a chilling “tease” from Season 7, which he recently revealed to be inspired by the 2016 presidential election. Ready or not, here it comes:

Aside from its political theme, little is known about AHS‘ seventh installment, save for a few inspired castings: Billie Lourde (Scream Queens) and Billy Eichner (Difficult People). As for which previous AHS cast members are expected to return, Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson have both been confirmed.

Though Murphy initially revealed that Trump would be featured on the new season, he has since changed his tune. “The themes of American Horror Story have always been allegories,” he clarified at the Publicists Guild Awards Luncheon in February. “You will not see [Donald] Trump and [Hillary] Clinton as characters on the show.”
