James Corden, prepare to be chained to the rhythm.
CBS on Wednesday announced that multi-platinum recording artist Katy Perry will join the virtuosic host for Carpool Karaoke during The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special 2017, airing Monday, May 22 at 10/9c.
What’s more, Jennifer Lopez, who drove alongside Corden during his first primetime special in 2016 (for which he won an Emmy for Outstanding Variety Special), will return to accompany the funnyman during his other signature segment, Toddlerography.
The hour-long program will once again feature Corden as he revisits memorable installments of the viral video bit, which has already spawned an Apple Music spinoff set to debut later this year. In the last 12 months alone, Corden has been joined by the likes of Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Gwen Stefani and former First Lady Michelle Obama.
