Empire halted two consecutive weeks of series lows by ticking up this Wednesday night to deliver 6.6 million total viewers and a 2.3 demo rating (per finals).
Opening Fox’s night, Shots Fired (3.6 mil/0.9) dipped.
Over on CBS, Survivor’s incendiary tribal council drew 8.3 million viewers and a 1.7 rating, steady week-to-week. A double pump of Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders did 5.7 mil/0.9 and then 4.8 mil/0.8, both up from its previous outing.
Leading out of sitcom reruns — and with a baseball preemption now factored out — ABC’s Designated Survivor (4.8 mil/0.9) slipped to series lows.
