The actress has joined the cast of Netflix’s reboot of the classic 1960s sci-fi series, our sister site Deadline reports. Posey will play Dr. Smith, the bumbling scientist played by Jonathan Harris in the original series.
Toby Stephens (Black Sails) and Molly Parker (House of Cards) have already been cast in the lead roles of John and Maureen Robinson in the Netflix remake, which is currently scheduled for a 2018 debut.
