The Magicians will cast a spell over Syfy with its Season 2 premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at 9/8c.
The fantasy series centers around a group of twentysomethings with magical abilities who discover that the stories they read about as children aren’t fiction. In Season 2, the “unlikely heroes have been thrust into even more dangerous and unfamiliar territory, and must draw upon their novice skills to defeat a threat that could destroy the magical world itself,” the official description reads. “Driven by power, revenge and survival, they learn that those who entered the hauntingly beautiful world of Fillory will never be the same as those who leave.”
A marathon of the first season airs Saturday, Nov. 12, from 9:30 am to 11 pm.
Additionally, the network announced that The Expanse Season 2 will debut with two episodes on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 10 pm. When the show returns, “the cold war between Earth and Mars is on the brink of an all-out battle.”
