Workaholics to End After Next Season

Workaholics Cancelled Season 7 Comedy Central

It’s quitting time for the stoner dudes of Workaholics.

The upcoming seventh season of the Comedy Central series will be its last, our sister site Deadline is reporting. The comedy stars Anders Holm, Adam DeVine and Blake Anderson as a trio of roommates who work together in a dead-end telemarketing office — when they aren’t smoking weed and partying, that is.

Workaholics was a success story for Comedy Central — it peaked in Season 3, drawing more than 2 million viewers for its season premiere — and for the trio of Holm, DeVine and Anderson, who started out doing YouTube sketches together with co-creator/director Kyle Newacheck.

“We would like to thank Comedy Central, Doug Herzog, Kent Alterman and all of the fans for turning us from Boyz II Men,” Anderson, DeVine, Holm and Newacheck said in a statement to Deadline. “It was an incredible run, but we’ve decided to leave on a HIGH note. Get it?”

The seventh and final season of Workaholics is expected to premiere next year on Comedy Central, with former Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev making a guest appearance.
