Nancy O’Dell will address her involvement in Donald Trump’s recent Access Hollywood scandal on Monday’s Entertainment Tonight, according to the nightly series.
The entertainment news journal released partial video of O’Dell’s remarks earlier in the day Monday. In the clip, the anchor reiterates what she said in a statement on Saturday.
“I truly meant what I said,” she states in the video. “There is no room for objectification of women, or anybody for that matter, not even in the ‘locker room.'”
O’Dell, of course, refers to a 2005 Access Hollywood tape — unearthed Friday by the Washington Post — which finds Republican presidential candidate Trump and then-host Billy Bush using lewd language to talk about women. Trump also mentions up a married woman he unsuccessfully tried to hit on; that woman was later revealed to be former Access Hollywood host O’Dell.
In the tape, which was discussed in detail at Sunday’s presidential debate, Trump discusses how “you can do anything” to women if you’re a star, including “grab them by the p—y.”
Days of Our Lives‘ Arianne Zucker and Bush also have released statements related to their appearances on the tape.
O’Dell’s remarks will air in full on Monday’s Entertainment Tonight. Get a preview by pushing PLAY on the video below.
