HBO is saying yes to drugs, renewing pot comedy High Maintenance for a second season. The pickup comes just two weeks into the show’s six-episode rookie season.
“The response to the new episodes exceeded all of our expectations,” said HBO prez Casey Bloys, who called series creators Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair are “brilliant, unconventional storytellers and we’re excited to see what they dream up for us in our second season.”
TVLine readers gave the Sept. 16 premiere an average B grade.
