Ryan Murphy is taking a page from his successful playbook, casting frequent collaborator Sarah Paulson in his new FX anthology drama Feud.
Murphy announced on Twitter Tuesday morning that Paulson — currently an Emmy frontrunner for her role as Marcia Clark in Murphy’s American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson — will channel legendary actress Geraldine Page in the eight-episode series.
Excited to announce Sarah Paulson will be playing legendary Oscar-winner Geraldine Page in FEUD.

Season 1 of Feud will chronicle Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange) and Bette Davis’ (Susan Sarandon) combative collaboration on the big-screen classic What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?, which went on to garner five Oscar nominations.
The cast also includes Catherine Zeta-Jones, Alfred Molina, Stanley Tucci, Judy Davis and Dominic Burgess.
Each season of Feud will explore a different real-life rivalry.
As we reported earlier this month, Paulson is currently shooting a top-secret role in the top secret sixth season of American Horror Story. (It’s all very top secret!)
