Sans satin tights but still fighting for your rights (as well as the old red, white and blue), Lynda Carter is looking rather wondrous as Supergirl‘s POTUS, in a behind-the-scenes photo shared by series star Melissa Benoist.
As reported in June, TV’s erstwhile Diana Prince will recur during Season 2 of The CW’s superhero import as the President of the United States.
Supergirl has made a number of significant casting moves as it transitions from CBS to The CW, most notably tapping Teen Wolf‘s Tyler Hoechlin to guest-star as Superman. Other key hires include Katie McGrath (Merlin) as Lena Luthor; Cougar Town alum Ian Gomez as Kara’s new supervisor, Snapper Carr; Floriana Lima (The Family) as Science Crimes captain Maggie Sawyer; and Containment‘s Chris Wood as Mon-El (aka the mystery pod’s passenger).
Supergirl Season 2 premieres Monday, Oct. 10 at 8/7c on The CW.
