Ratings: Running Wild Draws Record Crowd With AGT Lead-In, Zoo Rises

NBC’s Running Wild With Bear Grylls on Tuesday night drew 5.3 million total viewers — a series high — and a 1.8 rating, matching its second-best demo number ever, with the mighty America’s Got Talent as a lead-in.

Versus Monday’s season opener, Running Wild surged 66 and 63 percent.

Opening the Peacock’s night, AGT (11.3 mil/2.4) ticked up 8 percent and a tenth week-to-week.

CBS | Zoo (4.5 mil/0.8) ticked up, tying its season high in the demo.

ABC | Bachelor in Paradise (4.6 mil/1.4) surged 27 percent from its previous, Sunday opener. Mistresses (2.5 mil/0.6) slipped 16 percent and a tenth from its most recent Monday outing.

FOX | Coupled (1.1 mil/0.4) was flat with its finale. I think at this point I am allowed to ask: What was Coupled?

THE CW | Pending adjustments due to significant baseball preemption, both Whose Line (1.6 mil/0.5) and MADtv (1.2 mil/0.4) are currently on the upside.
