The Voice Season 11 Mentors Cast

Contestants on The Voice‘s upcoming Season 11 will have a little extra wind beneath their wings, thanks to the addition of several recently announced mentors.

Bette Midler, Charlie Puth, Sammy Hagar and Joan Jett will give contestants of the NBC reality music competition their sage counsel, Voice host/Today anchor Carson Daly announced Thursday on NBC’s morning talk show.

Midler will assist Voice coach Blake Shelton and Hagar will join Adam Levine; Puth and Jett will advise contestants coached by Season 11 additions Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus, respectively.

NBC will air a special half-hour episode of The Voice on Sunday, Aug. 21, at 10:30/9:30c, following the closing ceremony of the Summer Olympics. The episode, which will consist entirely of blind auditions, will also mark Cyrus and Keys’ debut.
