Black Mirror‘s upcoming third season will feature an episode written by Parks and Recreation duo Mike Schur and Rashida Jones, it was revealed Wednesday at the Television Critics Association summer press tour.
“It turns out they’re fans of the show, and the feelings were mutual,” Black Mirror executive producer Charlie Brooker explained to reporters.
The pair’s installment, titled “Nosedive,” is a “social satire about identity in the social media age,” Brooker explained. “It’s quite a playful episode in many ways, but it’s also quite nightmarish.”
Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World), Alice Eve (Entourage) and James Norton (Grantchester) star in the “cheerful, pastel nightmare,” directed by Joe Wright.
Black Mirror Season 3 premieres Friday, Oct. 21 on Netflix.
