There’s high anxiety for TV’s erstwhile Debby Downer this Sunday on $100,000 Pyramid, when funny lady Rachel Dratch struggles to sell “a joint” to her partner.
In the exclusive sneak peek above, the subject for this round of ABC’s rebooted classic game show is “things that get rolled,” and the Saturday Night Live alumna keeps things plenty wholesome throughout the first six clues. But when she goes to (convincingly) “light up” for the final word, her partner isn’t so quick to catch the buzz. Press play to see if the pair can somehow manage a perfect “7.”
Airing Sundays at 9/8c, Pyramid with its premiere led all of broadcast-TV in both total viewers (with 8.1 million) and in the demo (edging out Big Brother with a 1.7 rating). TVLine readers gave the faithful revival an average grade of “B+.”
Competing against Dratch in Week 2 of is fellow SNL vet Ana Gasteyer, whose more recent TV credits include The Goldbergs and Lady Dynamite.
