Its revival of $100,000 Pyramid paid big dividends for ABC on Sunday night, besting all broadcast-TV comers with 8 million total viewers and a 1.7 demo rating.

Alec Baldwin was great! I used to watch Match Game after school back in the day. Alec has the perfect, natural wit to do this job.

  2. Max says:

People have low standards or don’t remember the originals. I don’t get the Strahan popularity. Abc theres been inflation over decades & you can’t up the prize money? And Alec isn’t funny and they had weird matches. Like sorry but lotion and lube aren’t the same thing. If ratings hold up, ABC could put these game shows in daytime & kill The View after its 20th season

  3. Cat says:

ABC won the night because its ONLY competition was RERUNS!

  4. Leah says:

For Pyramid, watching Anthony Andersen might as well have been the FRIENDS episode when Joey was on Pyramid. lol.

    • Ron says:

You’re so right! Except the Friends episode was funny, maybe because it was a sitcom; Anderson was just annoying, maybe because it was an actual game. And for a chunk of it, he seemed oblivious that he sucked, which made him more annoying.
