Friday Night Lights Reunion

Friday Night Lights Reunion Photos: Connie Britton Joins Cast at ATX Fest

A handful of Dillon Panthers (along with a few East Dillon Lions) assembled Friday in Austin for a good old-fashioned high school reunion.

More than five years after we said goodbye to Friday Night Lights, a generous helping of the show’s stars — including Connie Britton, Scott Porter, Matt Lauria, Zach Gilford, Adrianne Palicki, Jesse Plemons and Stacey Oristano — took part in a tailgate on the actual Panther Field, as part of the ATX Television Festival.

Though Kyle Chandler (TVLine’s Performer of the Week!) was unable to join his former co-stars in Austin, they made sure to keep Coach Taylor’s legacy — including those six words — alive:

Volume up y'all! You know the drill! #FNLTailgate #TelevisionForever #TexasForever #ATXTVs5

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!

An all-time great show of it’s generation. I put it up there with Lost on my list of recent favorites. Both were really strong and even the “bad” episodes weren’t as bad as a lot of other shows put out.

    Texas Forever.

  11. The way they wrote and shot FNL was just amazing. I’m sick of visual effects. I want authenticity.
