Carpool Karaoke: Lin-Manuel Miranda Leads Broadway-Centric Ride (Video)

We. Want In. That. Car.

As foreshadowed last week, Monday’s Late Late Show found host and Carpool Karaoke ringleader James Corden trekking around Manhattan with Hamilton star Lin-Manuel Miranda, as well as Audra McDonald (Private Practice), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Modern Family) and Jane Krakowski (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt). On the quintet’s playlist: Songs from (natch) Hamilton, as well as Broadway classics Les Misérables and Rent.

The wildly entertaining stunt was tied to this year’s Tony Awards, over which Corden will preside when they’re broadcast live on Sunday, June 12, on CBS. All four of Corden’s guests know their way around the Great White Way: McDonald currently stars in Shuffle Along, Krakowski in She Loves Me and Ferguson in Fully Committed; Miranda created and sings the lead role in the musical Hamilton.

Krakowski and Miranda are both nominated in this year’s competition: He in three categories — part of Hamilton‘s 16 record-breaking nods —  and her for Featured Actress in a Musical.

Press PLAY above and then hit the comments with an answer to this rhetorical question: Is this the best Carpool Karaoke yet?
