Clear and severe. That’s how punishment is doled out in Fox’s creepy Wayward Pines, and Melissa Leo‘s Nurse Pam is no exception to the rule.
In Wednesday’s episode (9/8c on Fox), we learn that Pam’s decision to kill Pilcher in the Season 1 finale (to stop him from letting the Abbies loose in the town) resulted in her being placed back in cryo, then eventually banished to the outskirts of town and presumed dead.
This week’s episode description, however, proves that such an assumption was pure folly on the part of Jason and his minions: “Nurse Pam resurfaces and becomes a lethal threat to the town. Theo (Jason Patric) continues to dig deeper into why he was specifically chosen to be part of the population. And in a series of flashbacks, we learn how and why Jason Higgins (Tom Stevens) was raised to be the leader of the first generation in the all-new ‘Once Upon a Time in Wayward Pines.'”
