Bernie Sanders wants four more years of ‘Bernie Sanders.’
In an outtake from his appearance on Real Time with Bill Maher, the presidential hopeful officially voted to keep his comedic doppelgänger (and onetime co-star) Larry David employed at Saturday Night Live through 2020.
“I think he’s one of the funniest guys in America,” Sanders enthused in the below video. “I want to see him continue to be funny on television for the next four years.”
And just in case the subtext of Sanders’ ringing endorsement didn’t register, he added, “Vote for Bernie Sanders for President.”
Check out the video and then hit the comments with an answer to this question: Would SNL benefit from four more years of Sanders?
