The Night Shift Joins ATX Festival With Panel About Portraying Veterans on TV

The Night Shift ATX

The Night Shift is bracing for a busy summer.

Just days after beginning its third season on NBC (June 1, 10/9c), the medical drama’s co-creator and cast members will appear on a panel at the ATX Television Festival, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Gabe Sachs, along with four of the show’s stars — Scott Wolf, Jill Flint, Brendan Fehr and JR Lemon — will discuss the “complexities of maintaining a realistic and honest portrayal of veterans in a fictional world.” (The Night Shift was one of the first TV shows to be “6 certified” by Got Your 6 as part of an initiative to promote accurate representation of veterans in the media.)

This Night Shift panel joins the festival’s already jam-packed schedule, which includes a live reading of The O.C.‘s pilot script (with special guests!), West Wing and Ugly Betty reunions, and so much more.
