Ratings: Academy of Country Music Awards Drop, ABC Dramas Tick Up

Academy of Country Music Awards

CBS’ Sunday broadcast of the 51st Academy of Country Music Awards drew 11.2 million total viewers and a 2.2 demo rating, dropping 30 and 40 percent from last year— where it did not air opposite a little show called The Walking Dead. That said, the kudoscast topped broadcast TV on both measures, barely outdrawing NBC’s Little Big Shots.

Elsewhere in the ratings….

NBC | The aforementioned Little Big Shots (11.1 mil/1.8) added  a few eyeballs week-to-week but dipped a tenth in the demo. The Carmichael Show (5 mil/1.0) and Crowded (3.6 mil/0.8) were steady.

ABC | Once Upon a Time (3.8 mil/1.1), bubble drama The Family (3.2 mil/0.7) and Quantico (3.7 mil/1.0) all ticked up from last week’s series lows.

FOX | Bordertown (1 mil/0.4), Cooper Barrett (990K/0.4) and The Simpsons (2.3 mil/1.0) all dropped sharply to season lows. Bob’s Burgers (2 mil/1.0) was steady, while The Last Man on Earth (2.1 mil/0.9) slipped to series lows.
