CSI Alum Elisabeth Shue Joins Fox's Baseball Drama Pilot Pitch

Elisabeth Shue Fox Pilot

Elisabeth Shue will help Major League Baseball’s first female player take the mound in the Fox drama pilot Pitch.

Penned by Dan Fogelman (Galavant, The Neighbors) and Rick Singer (Younger), the project follows Ginny (Twisted’s Kylie Bunbury), a young pitcher who defies the odds when she becomes the first woman to play in the major leagues.

Per our sister site Deadline, Shue will play Amelia Slater, an “image-maker extraordinaire” who served as Ginny’s personal guru/protector.

The Pitch team thus far also includes Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Franklin & Bash), Mo McRae (Murder in the First, Sons of Anarchy), Meagan Holder (Ringer) and Tim Jo (The Neighbors).

Though she will forever be Karate Kid’s Ali to me, Shue’s TV credits include, obviously, CSI, as well as the 1980s drama Call to Glory and episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
