Baskets Renewed for Season 2 at FX


He gets knocked down, but rodeo clown Chip Baskets will definitely get up again.

Zach Galifianakis’ bruising comedy Baskets has been renewed for Season 2, FX announced Tuesday.

The show’s sophomore season of will debut in early 2017.

Through its first three episodes, Baskets, co-created by Galifianakis, Louis C.K. and Jonathan Krisel, is “cable’s most-watched new scripted comedy series of 2016 in Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers,” according to FX, averaging 944,000 and 1.5 million including live plus seven-day DVR playback.
