Josh Hutcherson Hulu

The odds are definitely in Josh Hutcherson‘s favor at Hulu.

The Hunger Games star has landed the lead role in Future Man, a half-hour comedy pilot in development at the streaming service.

Executive-produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (This Is the End), the potential series stars Hutcherson as Josh Futterman, a janitor by day and world-ranked gamer by night, who is tasked with preventing the extinction of humans after mysterious visitors from the future proclaim him the key to defeating an imminent super-race invasion.

* Mexican actress Natalia Cordova-Buckley has joined Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodriguez, inspired by the Secret Warriors comic book character Slingshot. According to ComicBook.com, Elena is described as a street-wise Colombian woman with the ability to move at super speed, before snapping back to the spot from which she started.

* Heroes Reborn alumna Eve Harlow has landed a series-regular role on The Jury, ABC’s drama pilot about a single murder trial seen through the eyes of the individual jurors. Per our sister site Deadline, Harlow will play Melody, who’s completely cynical about the criminal justice system (but has a razor-sharp sense of humor).
