Private Practice alum KaDee Strickland has landed the female lead in Shut Eye, Hulu’s dark comedy about the underground world of Los Angeles storefront psychics and the organized crime syndicate that runs them.
The 10-episode series stars Burn Notice‘s Jeffrey Donovan as Charlie Haverford, a failed magician who now works as a psychic and con man. When he suffers a blow to the head, Charlie begins to question everything he has ever believed and is urged by his wife to break out on his own.
Per our sister site Deadline, Strickland will play said wife, Linda, a housewife who makes money on the side as a fortune teller at upscale parties, but who really longs to make bank by running scams with Charlie.
Since Oceanside Wellness (or whatever it was called at the end) shuttered its doors, Strickland has starred on Season 1 of ABC’s Secrets and Lies and recurred on NBC’s The Player.
