The 100 Video: Watch Shawn Mendes' Performance in Season 3 Premiere

Warning: This clip from The 100‘s upcoming third season is likely to leave you in “Stitches.”

Singer Shawn Mendes makes his acting debut in the CW drama’s long-awaited premiere (Jan. 21, 9/8c), in which he basically plays a human jukebox — and he takes request!

The network on Friday released a clip of Mendes treating the Arkers to a little mood music, providing the perfect opportunity for Raven and Abby to bury the hatchet. (Their beef comes earlier in the premiere, so don’t worry if you’re confused as to what they’re arguing about.)

Hit PLAY on the clip above, then drop a comment below: Are you ready to welcome Mendes as an honorary Arker?

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!

I love The 100, but this clip feels as if it were in the first batch of episodes. It is almost as corny and cheesy as the “Radioactive“ bit on the pilot. Bad PR stunt for The CW.

  2. Shaun says:

LOL,how do you get music skills while on a space station!?Especially piano skills.Excited for the season though.

    • Wordsmith says:

I feel like the acoustics would be pretty great in a space station, and other hobbies might be scarce, so singing would probably be a popular activity overall. You’re right about the piano, though – an Arker probably wouldn’t even recognize one, much less know how to play it.

      • A fan of TV says:

Huge ship though, most of which we never saw. Why assume they had nothing at all for recreation, and if they had anything for rec why not a piano? Obviously this is cheesy, but I don’t agree that Arkers had no access to musical instruments at all. They watched 100 year old football games, indulged artistic talents, a piano doesn’t feel like a major stretch…

        • Lala says:

Well they never properly developed life on the space station on the show but in the book certain sectors were poorer than the others. And on the show and the book Clarke is one of the privileged. Highly doubt they had recreational music available to everyone. This isnt the space station in Zenon

      • RockStar says:

You don’t need to have seen an actual piano to be able to play a keyboard. Maybe he learned on an app on his computer at some point?

    • James says:

In the books, one of the three interconnected space stations got dibs on the most luxurious Earth items before the Rapture and the residents there got better privileges than the other two. That likely includes music training so that humanity will be able to preserve that aspect of their civilization.

I wonder how they got the piano from considering nothing of that size would have survived the Ark pod’s crash? Unless, of course, the scene was in Mount Weather.

  3. Bryan says:

I feel like he’s the one Ryan Murphy was talking about who reached out to him for a part in Scream Queens season 2 (if ever that will get a season 2)

Kinda weird clip though but he has a big fansbase that can hep with the ratings so I’ll take it.

  4. Terrible other than the Raven/Abby talk corny as

  5. Lacey Blackford says:
