Well isn’t this special?
SNL vet Dana Carvey is returning to television in a new USA Network reality competition series called First Impressions.
Carvey will be the “expert-in-residence” helping the nation’s best amateur impressionists as they duke it out to see who’s got the best arsenal of famous folks locked within, the network announced on Thursday.
The half-hour series will find Carvey and famous guests mentoring contestants and participating in the game play, with home viewers voting weekly to help crown a winner.
“There are so many great impressionists and First Impressions gives them an opportunity to showcase their talents,” said Carvey, in a statement. “Besides, I’ve always enjoyed watching an impressionist nail somebody… as in capture their voice. Now I get paid to watch.”
